Myself, my boyfriend and our best friend went on our annual trip to celebrate a birthday. They were INCREDIBLY accommodating to a pet allergy (they cleaned the cabin so well I couldn't tell an animal had ever stayed there) and were very conversational and inviting. They even had a small novelty gift and some balloons for her when we arrived! So thoughtful. It rained the whole time we were there; we didn't mind though, we went and grabbed a couple movies (donations welcomed) to have as background noise while we played games and enjoyed a small fire outside! Firewood was available for purchase (only $5 an armload) in the shed. We got a friendly visit from Bella, a pup from over the hill who is so sweet and loves freshly-cooked bacon. Lake Sherando is not too far of a drive and is a beautiful spot to break for lunch!
My wife booked this for my 50th Birthday since I wanted something quiet and secluded. This place delivered, secluded yet close to Waynesboro and DB Brewery. Very neat and clean. Especially enjoyed hiking Woodpecker trail right behind the cabin. Great fire pit to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the mountain. Spacious deck to enjoy the birds and wildlife. This will become a regular vacation getaway for us. Thank you.

We were a party of 6 women on a girls vacation. None of us could have asked for a nicer stay. We all felt so at home from the nicely stocked kitchen to the laundry area to the comfortable beds. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a home away from home.
Upon checkout, we weren't sure of how to "un-make" the beds. They reassured us that we should do nothing because "you're on vacation, you shouldn't have to!" We will 100% be back. Loved the staff and the location.
